New Plasma Cutter Attachment
Hey guys, Check out this new attachment to the @hypertherm Plasma cutter. It is called the Hyaccess tip. This was the perfect opportunity to use this tool. I am running the Hypertherm 85 Sync for this job. I know you guys will definitely dig this new toy. Doing this job any other way would have been quite tough. Kick back for a bit and check it out. Super handy. Thanks for the support and Thanks to Hypertherm for sending it.

Hey guys, here is a rather short video of adding a pipe fitting onto a tar storage tank. I have a couple of pointers that you may be able to glean off of. Hopefully you catch them. Kick back for a few minutes, maybe a coffee break or an extended rest room break and check it out. Thanks for the support and I'll get back to the bigger repairs soon. The videos are there but the editing takes up mo...
Rugged RV for Off Grid Camping or Working.
Просмотров 29 тыс.14 дней назад
Hey guys, You may ask yourself, "What does a welding channel have to do with an RV"? Well, as you know, many welders have to travel for work or be away from home for long periods of time. This is the case I have found myself in quite a few times. But, if you're gonna be on the road or off road, you need an RV that can do the job and not get stuck while being self-contained and comfortable. We d...

Hey guys, well, here is a nice small project for the day. Today we are repairing a quicktach Fork plate for a skidsteer. As you see in the video, the small brackets got bent out of shape and needed upgrading. Follow along as I use the HTP invertig 400 from @usaweld that my bud @ZILAwelds introduced me to. This is a nice unit that works great here in the shop. Kick back for a few moments and see...

Watch the molten metal pour out and make sure not to be wearing your sandals. Thanks for the...

Well, just as the title says, "Cutting Steel Through Concrete Backer" For todays challenge we are cutting off a steel casing from a foundation pier that was once a Cell phone tower base. The customer is required to cut down or remove any evidence of any concrete or steel 5' feet down from grade. Upon jack hammering the base of the tower, they discovered that this particular concrete column was ...

If you want the heartache and $$$ rebuild the sucker. If you want to have the easier jobs that you deserve tell them it's a goner and _Hasta la vista baby_ or _Hit the road Jack don't you come back._ I have *zero* doubts that you can fix this so it is better than new and I am guessing you will repair it because you like a challenge and had more than the skills needed to do it, plus it shall make excellent video content. I wish you well Isaac and look forward to see how you fix this abomination of butchery by an incompetent machine operator. 👍
Where did you get that narrow, thin soap stone marker? Can't seem to find it. That's cool.
Precast for 30 years operating a mijack for 24. I've never had anything like that happen.. are they not keeping the drive wheels lined up? Either way nice job!
Good job.
IC has a legit light saber...
wonder what a hand held laser de-ruster costs? might be a time saver in certain situations. i would think the surface cleaning would be exceptional.
9:32 Kurtis at Cutting Edge Engineering gets a shout. We know.
He’s done this before…..
Thanks for showing us what you're up to Isaac. Nice to see Jr with you too!
Lol I love watching cee
Ic weld is one of the best
That blade is made for cutting wood. Sorry bud
Thanks for the update 👍🏻
Good work.
Why did you weld it so that the nipple is 90 degrees to how it was originally?
Both of your channels are great (CEE)! I'll say it for you.. F Off plane!! 🤣🤣
Hey Issac, I just bought one of those vodo magic eraser. ( Plasma Cutter) Used it first time yesterday. It was only on 18ga but I had a couple circles to cut and it worked well. Never used one before. I'm rebuilding a 65 F350 dump truck. The box is well damaged and will put my new cutter to the test. My oldest grandson has access to a press brake and drop off 1/8" steel to make the replacement sections. Life is good here in Wisconsin!! Thanks
He needs to fix his harness.
Some good metal work
Definitely a smart choice to replace it
I love all your videos I.C. 👍👍💯
Just commenting to feed the algorithm Issac. Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
Two thing can cause cracks in weld: when leave it without paint and at resonances when the force was travell back and forth in diffrently flexing materials with high speed. In theory the claws has to be own support on drill head to drive axis, and an other one for the end of a auger. The gap in between is may filled with high damping elastic thing, to stop the resonances to travell up on the spiral, and than come back to the headed end and stressing the welded connections When use a drill in non homogenus material like a dirt the far end will hopping than spin like the drived end, and have to keep the rpm far away from self resonance point and have to limit the torque when it is can happen. So the one part of the solution is decoupleing the mostly hopping and the mostly spining parts on a drill. Than the second part is put a accelerometer in to the cutting head to ensure the driveing rpm and torque is set right. I am an electronic enginier who solve wierd problems in realised instuments. In many cases these are comeing from an mechanical related issue so sometimes i need to go that far. Like the own way man, who keep with no-grinding at all, just set up the surface perfect.
👍
PRECAST!!!!!! Sorry I do precast for 40 yrs.
Yah I thought that was precast factory.Concrete dude!
Hey Issac, I still drag out my old sawzall from time to time as well. Still destroys my shoulder and wrist as well. I've been using the "dish" type cut off wheels that will cut flush with the flat of the blade. I picked up a M12 power hacksaw that uses the standard sawzall blades and find that helpful in thinner metals. The more tools in the box makes the jobs easier. Always great to see real world repairs. Thanks from Wisconsin
IC WELD thank you for sharing 🤗
Nice
wax stick lubricant works wonders to cut down on saw blade friction on jobs like this..that Hypertherm extension sure is a game changer in obtructed cutting..nice work
Buy another one, too far gone
I would have DIED laughing if an Australian accent would have said 'F**** off plane!'. I like the new light saber, it really gets off in there. Hope you stay cool this summer, be safe.
Is everyone on the crew required to dress the same?
I used to drill pin out most of the way through not all the way, this weakened it, then I got it hot then used a big drift through the hole to knock out the weakened pin from the inside and almost opposite end. It stopped you turning the pin into a rivet by hammering one end. Probably work with this Thermic lance arrangement as well! Nice tool.
I like the overlapping tack method going uphill far more than running a downhand bead with solid wire mig. I used to do it that way and got some criticism for it too until i hot broke some pieces in the press and showed the penatration.
I really admire ur patience...love watching ur videos an keep them coming !
Oliver at Snowball Engineering is also an excellent welder in the UK, enjoy all of you!
Dude, that’s hilarious
😎👍
Eff-off plane!! 🤨
Nicely done. The right tools are nothing without the knowledge and experience to use them. You have a great steady hand. No burn through on the parent metal. Always tough on thin metal.
No hate just trying to understand the thought process, why did you use short circuit and that tack weld method? Wouldn't it be more appropriate on 3/8" to run FCAW-G or Pulse Spray uphill in a continuous bead?
its what i had
Man, that new plasma cutter looks like a butter knife in your hands man! What a great tool for your tool box!
The least enjoyable purchase ever. 😂
i've done my share of oxyacetylene heating but never got it to make music like you did, amazing.
